The Family Award

It’s worth getting involved

Every year Frankfurt School Alumni e.V. hands out the Family Award and a prize of up to 1,000 euros to acknowledge the outstanding work performed by someone involved in developing and looking after the network.

Who is eligible for the award?
Groups, initiatives or individuals in the FS Family. Anyone who can influence how funding is allocated is excluded from the award.

What kind of work can be honoured?
Only activities where involvement has been on an entirely voluntary basis.

Decision on who receives the HfB Family Award
The Family Award Committee decides who will receive the award once the annual deadline has passed. The Family Award Committee consists of five people: one Committee member and four members chosen at the meeting of members.

They then decide who wins the award by a simple majority of those present. It is only quorate if all are present. In the event that they are unable to agree on the award, the Committee of Frankfurt School Alumni e.V. decides
