The Ambition of NTT DATA’s first Global Leadership Programme

After several successful acquisitions during the last few years the management of NTT DATA set up the first Global Leadership Programme. A programme which prepares the ground for synergies, to experience the power of the whole group and the spirit of change as well to develop a common understanding of the high level goal of the vision to become in the next decade a Global IT Innovator. The ambitious strategic goal of NTT Data Group is to become Nr. 5 of all IT Service Companies wordwide in the next five years. Also due to the actual economic recession the strategic vision requires to take on a new dynamic. That calls for highly refined leadership skills and crossover management abilities.

The Execution of the Programme
Thirteen members of the NTT DATA Group coming from Japan, USA, Spain, China and Germany have attended the first Global Leadership Programme in Germany. The members represented different businesses and countries of the group. The given objectives of the Programme were fully met by the team of Class 2009. The participants networked as high level executives of the NTT DATA Group and experienced the power of the group and the spirit of change. The team is dedicated to promote and accelerate the NTT DATA Group’s growth as a Global IT Innovator. This was accomplished by understanding the leading-edge global business trends and by discussing the group’s global issues. The programme included topics of innovation, industrialization and group methodologies needed to enable the NTT DATA Group to become a Global IT Innovator by improving the skills of its people, optimizing its global delivery capability and selectively invest in technologies and services.

Joint success and sustainable partnership
The first Global Leadership Programme at the Cirquent Academy has been recognized as a great success groupwide. Throughout the preparation and execution of the programme we experienced the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management as a professional and reliable partner fully dedicated to the success of the joint event. By this we created a sustainable partnership of our two organisations.

ACI – The Financial Markets Association

ACI – The Financial Markets Association represents front, middle and back office staff working in a wide range of financial market areas. It has the largest membership of any of the international associations in the wholesale financial markets with members in over 70 countries of which 63 currently have affiliated national associations.

The Association contributes to the market development also through education by offering exams and certificates. 

Based on an Education Managing Services Agreement with ACI, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Managementassists ACI to maintain the quality of it’s education programmes and examinations and to implementa programme development strategy. The ACI Global Education Centre is located in Frankfurt/Germany at Frankfurt School and will be managed by a Director of Education ACI.
