Fostering Global Leaders

The Master of International Business is a unique Masters programme designed to educate and empower the leaders of tomorrow. As opposed to a traditional MBA program that focuses exclusively on business administration and developing students into corporate managers, Frankfurt School encourages students to explore all functional areas and types of international organizations.

The programme is based upon the idea that a management education is best gained through practical experience. Therefore, the emphasis of the student’s class time and project work at the Frankfurt School is centered upon a cross-disciplinary approach that emphasizes the bigger picture regarding leadership in an international setting. As competencies grow, practical work experiences build upon this broad, solid foundation.

While traditional MBA programmes tend to be highly structured, the MIB at FS opens the door to individual freedom in pursuing specific interests, in addition to gaining general management knowledge. The MIB invites students to conceive their studies as an investment project and design their path that leads directly to their future goals. With strong support from our corporate and educational partners, a meaningful internship can be carried out in various countries, in practically any industry and position.

The MIB program at FS continues to evolve with the times and strives to expand its scope, as the business world exists in cooperation with many other facets of society. Tomorrow’s leaders will need knowledge in cultural, societal, and political issues to be effective and the Frankfurt School will support all these topics through an international lens. New possibilities for concentrations within the programme for the 2010 intake will include “International Healthcare Business ” while further expanding to other regions and industries in the near future.
