Doctoral Programme

The PhD program of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management will provide you with the right challenges from the fields of finance and management within a research environment that emphasizes the integration of theoretical (propositional) and practical (prescriptive) knowledge.

You will go through a structured PhD program that involves you in the research process as a whole including some teaching. During the course of six terms (semesters) you will join your peers and professors in addressing research issues of finance, management and beyond.

At the Frankfurt school it is also viable to work part-time as an employee or self-employed while completing the program. The program is open to (international) applicants who intend to develop themselves as researchers before pursuing an academic career or other. A strong research orientation and motivation is expected.
