Trust in our work is reflected by impressive contributions such as that of the IFK (Interessengemeinschaft Frankfurter Kreditinstitute): In 2008 the IFK made a € 1 million contribution to the endowment. There are many ways you can contribute to the Foundation, including endowing a scholarship in your own name to be granted over a period of 20 years.
And don’t forget:
In Germany, in addition to the general deduction for charitable donations, a special expenses deduction of up to one million € can be taken for contributions to a foundation’s endowment, distributed over a ten year period. This applies to companies and private individuals alike. Spouses are allowed to claim the same amount.
Further information on donations and endowments can be obtained from Stifterverband – the business community’s innovation agency for the German science system (Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft). http://www.stiften-wirkt.de/index.html
