Around 200 participants attended yesterday’s conference "The Future of Banking and Finance in China - Prospects and Challenges". The joint conference of CEIBS and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management achieved great success. More information here

The German Centre of Banking and Finance (GCBF) is a joint finance research and education institute of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (FS) and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) at CEIBS in Shanghai, China, founded on September 1st, 2009. The Centre is financially supported by the Centre of International Migration and Development (CIM), the human resources recruitment and placement organization of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The Centre aims to set up a permanent Sino-German capacity of financial research and teaching in order to generate and communicate new knowledge relevant to the transformation of China’s financial system. A special focus is given to the support and promotion of Shanghai into an international financial centre.
Currently, the Centre runs the EU-China Business Management Training Project and the EU-China Research Fellowship Programme. Both are co-operations in management education and financial research of Frankfurt School and CEIBS.
