EU-China BMT Project

The Business Management Training (BMT) Project provides modern, world-class, high level practice-oriented business management training for Chinese professionals. Frankfurt School was invited by the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), the leading business school in Asia and China, to join the project together with the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. The project started in 2008 and is funded by the EU – Commission. It is scheduled for five years with a budget of ten million Euros.

The project consists of the following five primary activities:

• EU-China Business Development Certificate Programme
• Academic-Corporate Workshops & Networking Platform
• Research Fellowship Programme Integrated Financial Service Provider
• EU-China MBA Scholarships
• EU-China MBA Student Exchange Scholarships

Frankfurt School co-operates with CEIBS particularly in the Certification Programme and the Research Fellowship Programme.

EU-China Business Development Certificate Programme 

The EU-China Business Development Certificate Programme provides practically oriented training for start-up companies in disadvantaged regions. Focusing on training participants for planning, funding and managing new business.The programme offers nine courses with six intensive modules each in entrepreneurship, business finance, and international management in selected cities in the Western, Central and North-Eastern regions of China. Frankfurt School is responsible for the accounting and the corporate finance courses.

Two programmes were already conducted in Hefei, others are scheduled for Chongqing, Xi’An, Harbin, Kunming, Chengdu, Hohhot, and Guiyang. For more details click here.

Research Fellowship Programme Integrated Financial Service Provider 

The Research Fellowship Programme analyzes the transformation of China’s banking sector towards a European style universal banking system with elements of bancassurance. European experiences should be integrated, particularly with regard to risk management and supervision.
