New Cooperation with Chuo University in Tokyo
On February, 5 / 6 the new partnership agreement between the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Chuo University in Tokyo was signed.
The cooperation has already been heralded by first consolidated activities.
A group a scientists, conducting worldwide comparing experiments about „Artificial Financial Markets“, contacted Frankfurt School within the context of a cooperation with a Japanese evolution economists (Prof. Dr. Carsten Herrmann-Pillath).
The Frankfurt School's Business Informatics team, under the management of Prof. Dr. Peter Rossbach, collaborates - besides the Chuo University - with other reputable Japanese establishments, like Tokyo Institute of Technology, Kyoto University or the National Defense University. These institutions have created an „U-Mart System“ that distinguishes itself by making it possible for computer based artificial agents to interact with human beings.
At present, Professor Rossbach and his team are developing artificial agents that are capable of interpreting estimations from Behavioral Finance.
