CFIF Project Website launched

At www.climate-finance.org IAS offers all relevant information about the major project within the UNEP Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Energy & Climate Finance so far.

The "UNEP Climate Finance Innovation Facility" (CFIF) was set up by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety to support clean energy investments across the Asian region. In cooperation with UNEP, Frankfurt School provides technical assistance and training services to partner financial institutions. Financial Institutions with innovative concepts for financing clean energy technologies can apply for financial and technical support from the facility.

The project website gives an overview of objectives the facility and will inform about programmes undertaken.

With the successful launch of the CFIF project website, IAS continues its series of "live" projects. In 2009, IAS proudly announced the launch of the "Syrian Fund for Project Finance" and the "Tajik Agricultural Finance Framework" (TAFF) websites.
