Frankfurt School goes CBEEX
CBEEX, the China Beijing Environmental Exchange, has invited the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management as strategic partner to take part in its conference on Green Energy Finance in Beijing on June 5 / 6.
Ingolf Jungmann, Frankfurt School’s Vice President and Managing Director, delightedly accepted the invitation and said: "The Beijing Municipal Government founded CBEEX. It is a state-of-the-art trading platform for all kinds of environmental equity. We are proud that we have been asked to share insights on green energy finance at the CBEEX conference in June and are looking forward to meeting our friends there".

Ingolf Jungmann
Ingolf Jungmann himself will take part in a panel discussion on the sustainability and profitability of a bank. Furthermore, a team member from FS’ International Advisory Services Sustainable Energy Finance competence center will deliver a workshop on energy efficiency finance.
Yan Yumin represents the Frankfurt School in China, based in Beijing. He explains: "The Beijing Municipal Government is very keen on reducing pollution and developing our capital into a green city. Thus, it has set up some ambitious objectives such as establishing zero emission regions within Beijing. CBEEX plays an important role in this context. It is a trading platform but will also contribute new ideas and concepts with regard to transforming Beijing into a green city. And Beijing is normally model for other Chinese cities to follow. I am proud that FS can share its know-how here".

Yan Yumin
Since September 2009, Yan Yumin and Ingolf Jungmann have been meeting CBEEX representatives. “Our exchange has been extremely constructive and forward-oriented”, adds Ingolf Jungmann. "We are looking forward to co-operating further".
