Professor Erich Barthel, Head of the Management Department of Frankfurt School and also lecturer in the programme, welcomed the students in the name of Frankfurt School. In his laudatio, Jürgen Hahn, Chief Marketing Officer Hitachi Medical Systems Europe, pointed out that the graduates would be high in demand with hospitals and healthcare suppliers. The unique combination of medical and business knowledge skills was not found very often, he pointed out, especially when the training was done in such an international way.

Professor Rainer Sibbel, the Academic Head of the programme, as well as Professor Denis Chenevert of the collaboration partner HEC Montreal gave their farewell speeches. The latter gave a piece of advice to the students: "The difference between a good and a bad manager is courage, so be brave!"

The highlight of the event was the awarding ceremony of the MBA graduation certificate. Prof. Dr. Angelika Eggert received an award for being the best student of the programme and excelling in her studies. She summarized the students' experiences and impressions across the ten learning modules. While the internationality of the student body was the greatest challenge it was also the best feature of the programme, she explained. A representative of the alumni association of Frankfurt School reminded the graduates to stay part of the FS family and brought along with him the typical Frankfurt apple wine jugs, called "Bembel", as gifts for the MBA graduates.

Graduation ended with a reception at the restaurant Schwarzer Stern, where professors, graduates and their family and friends celebrated together.
