"The number of businesses attending was impressive"
"Meet Frankfurt School!" for the third time – 35 businesses on campus
Frankfurt am Main.
On Wednesday, 5th October 2011, „Meet Frankfurt School!“, the career fair of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, opened with a speech of Professor Dr. Udo Steffens, President of the FS.
Numerous private and commercial banks, consulting firms, and the „big four“ audit firms presented themselves at their exhibition booths. The fair, organised by the FS Career Centre, was once again a great success, not only for the businesses, but also for the attending students and alumni. They had the opportunity to network with over 140 representatives from banks and businesses and establish contacts for their start into professional life.
Some of the students described their impressions as follows:
„I would recommend every student to visit the fair every year. It was great that the business representatives really took their time and answered all questions in detail“, said Carsten Auel, student council representative of the FS. He also praised the Career Centre for the good organisation of the event: „I wish this event took place every week. Everything was perfect.“
Lina Dayrabaeva, student of the Master of Finance from the Russian Amurskaya region, was also very pleased: „I widenend my network and my contacts to businesses and had the opportunity to discuss career paths for after my graduation.“
„This event really opened new perspectives for me“, Julia Krones, 7th semester of the Bachelor in Management, Philosophy & Economics, commented.
