First Science Night at Frankfurt School on 15 November
The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management invites you to join us for the „Science Night“ (Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft) on Friday, November 15, 2013. Beginning at 17:30 and lasting until midnight, FS professors will deliver one hour lectures, providing a glimpse into the world of the economic sciences. This night was initiated and organised entirely by Frankfurt School students, who hope to give a wider audience access to discussion concerning today’s important economic questions. All interested are cordially invited to join us at the Frankfurt School Campus at Sonnemannstraße 9-11 in Frankfurt am Main. Entrance is free of charge. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
At the Langen Nacht der Wissenschaft, the focus will be economic questions which relate to everyday life. Under the motto “Die spinnen doch, die Chefs,” Prof. Dr. Myriam Bechtoldt will discuss the psychology of power. Increasingly people shop online and return goods with which they are not satisfied. Prof. Dr. Christian Schulze will discuss how companies should handle these issues. Prof. Dr. Adalbert Winkler will present a lecture titled “Mikrofinanzierung: Allheilmittel gegen Armut?” In addition, Prof. Dr. Eberhard Feess will explain the correlation between Game Theory and sports betting. A detailed agenda can be found here.
