The IT-Governance-Practice-Network of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management considers itself as a competence centre for research, education and training in IT-Governance and related topics, and is supported by partners and sponsors.
The main objective is to contribute to the development of the field of research of IT governance through academic research with models, methods and techniques.
The key focus is the methodical support of current management tasks and challenges of IT.
In collaboration with corporate partners, we work on problems, found in practice, by transferring them into the scientific process. The compiled solutions are reevaluated in collaboration with corporate partners, which assures the relevancy to practice.
Members of the research group have published the book Referenzmodelle der IT-Governance. Strategische Effektivität und Effizienz mit COBIT, ITIL & Co and take part in the editorial board of the magazine IT-Governance of the ISACA Germany Chapter. Our research has been published in various national and international conferences and proceedings.
