Finance Department
Its expertise is clustered in the Centre for Practical Quantitative Finance, the Centre for Development Finance, Frankfurt Institute for Private Equity and M&A and the German Centre of Banking and Finance at CEIBS. The Department excels in a wide thematic scope in financial market-relevant fundamental research. A strong network within the financial industry guarantees significant contributions to topical projects. The emphasis in research and teaching is put on the areas of Quantitative Finance, Risk Management, Asset and Liquidity Management, Financial Supervisory, Private Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Wealth Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Development Finance. Members of the Department teach in Frankfurt School’s Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Programmes.
