German Council of Science and Humanities
In January 2010, Frankfurt School obtained a ten year accreditation by the Wissenschaftsrat, the longest possible period.
Institutional accreditation by the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat - the official German government council and top agency for accrediting institutions of higher education and research) is required for all private universities in Germany. This institutional accreditation is a quality assurance process intended to determine if a non-state higher education institution provides services in teaching and research that meet established scientific and academic criteria.
