Myriam Bechtoldt holds a PhD in work and organizational psychology and a Master´s degree in psychology. After her PhD, she was assistant professor at the Universiteit van Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and guest professor at Sungkyungkwan University in Seoul (South Korea). Her research focuses on emotions at work, specifically on emotional intelligence and emotional labor, stress and creativity at work. Besides, Myriam Bechtoldt is a systemic psychotherapist. Before starting her academic career, she was an editorial journalist.
