Curriculum
Ms Yekbun Gürgöz’s work at IAS is characterized by a strong focus on the Middle East. She is responsible for a portfolio of development finance projects, including the coordination of international and local teams of experts, reporting and quality management, research and submission of technical assistance proposals. Furthermore, she takes up consultancy assignments on a short term basis such as a feasibility study that she carried out in Afghanistan on behalf of KfW. More recently, Ms Gürgöz was the on site project manager for the Sudan Microfinance Development Facility in Khartoum. She is fluent in English, German, French and Turkish and has a basic knowledge in Spanish and Arabic.
