Curriculum

Dr. Michael Leyer is Lecturer at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since March 2012. After civil service he studied Economics in Osnabruck, Germany, from 2003 until 2008 (Diploma in Economics). The major fields of study were micro economics, university management, banking and finance. Beside his studies he worked for DZ BANK AG and VR Kreditwerk-Hamburg-Schwäbisch-Hall AG in the credit management department focussing on process improvement. Thereafter, he was PhD studend from 09/2008 until 02/2012 at ProcessLab, a research center of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. His research interests are on operational control and simulation of service processes, process mining, Six Sigma and Lean Management as well as knowledge management and learning in business processes.
