Prof. Dr. Nils Stieglitz has been Professor of Strategic Management at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since August 2012.

From 1993 to 1999 studied economics at Philipps University of Marburg. Research assistant from 1999 to 2006 at the Chair for Organization Design and Personnel Management at University of Marburg. Doctoral degree (Dr. rer. pol) with research on “Strategy and Competitive Dynamics in Converging Industries”. Assistant Professor (2006 to 2009) and Associate Professor (2009 to 2012) at the Department of Marketing & Management of the University of Southern Denmark in the research area of Strategic Organization Design.

Nils Stieglitz teaches strategic management and organizational design. His research is mainly concerned with strategic decision-making, managerial risk-taking, and organizational learning. He has published in Strategic Management Journal, Advances in Strategic Management, Journal of Socio-Economics, and Journal of Development Studies and his research is forthcoming in Organization Science and Strategic Management Journal.
