From June 28 to July 2, 2016, the current intake of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management’s full-time MBA spent a study week at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. The week focused on “Business Ethics, Governance and CSR” including psychological as well as moral issues of management behavior. Students of Frankfurt School’s full-time MBA have the opportunity to join two modules abroad at leading European business schools. The first study week took place at SDA Bocconi Business School in Milan, Italy, on the topic of ‘Leadership & Strategic Thinking’.
On top of the highly interactive lectures based on cases studies and the respective company visits, the trip to Oslo included various opportunities for networking and socializing. The students joined a sightseeing tour including the famous Holmenkollen and the harbour area. The study trip was concluded with a formal farewell dinner at Ostmarkseteren one of Oslo’s top restaurants.
After the Oslo session, Professor Dr Ramakrishna S. Velamuri from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) will conclude the current full-time MBA progamme with the capstone course ‘Entrepreneurial Management’ at the campus of Frankfurt School. Finally, the 46 MBA students from 22 nations have to write their respective thesis. They have the choice between a Group Consultancy Project with external companies, an Entrepreneurial Business Plan about a start-up company or an Individual Research Thesis.
