On Wednesday, June 9, 2016, students and staff of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management grasped the opportunity to taste food from all over the world, offered at International Day. International students, who are staying at Frankfurt School as exchange students or for a complete degree programme, offered home-made food and drinks from their respective home countries.
International Day takes place twice a year to strengthen intercultural exchange and celebrate diversity at Frankfurt School. This year Bachelor, Master and MBA students from twelve different countries were represented: Botswana, Brazil, China, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Morocco, Mexico, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain and the United States.
Arnold Sarangosa from Kenya studies the International Business concentration of Frankfurt School’s Bachelor of Science programme: “It is the second time that I am participating in the event”, he says. “It is a great platform to meet new people. On top of this there is great food – everyone is really committed to show off their country and their favourite dishes.”
María Montes, an exchange student from Mexico, also studies in the Bachelor programme and is proud to represent her country: “We thought very hard about what to offer today, but now we are really happy with what we have come up with.”
