They also won the Venture Capital Challenge by Earlybird Venture Capital and came in second at the Gameloft Challenge.

In five different challenges the students worked on real life business cases. This year´s theme evolved around the concept of technology bringing disruption to the business world and society in general. The participants had to come up with disruptive solutions for five cases sponsored by Bain & Company, Schneider Electric, Earlybird Venture Capital, Gameloft as well as Klépierre and pitch their ideas in front of the juries which were composed by employees of the companies. To the five different challenges belonged the Strategy Challenge, Gameloft Challenge, CSR Challenge, Online Challenge and the Venture Capital Challenge. For instance, within the framework of the Gameloft Challenge, the participants had to create Gameloft´s next Artificial-Intelligence inspired mobile game to show how they would disrupt the gaming sector. Unlike many other case competitions, the students had to work together with different groups during each challenge. “One of the best parts of the event was the people. I learned a lot from the fellow participants and got many insights. Networking was a lot of fun”, emphasised Giulia Vignotti.
