On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management announced the election results for its new Student Council (StuCo). 499 students took part in the online election with 21 candidates. The StuCo is responsible for the student initiatives at the business school. In addition, the committee plans own events for students. This year, the StuCo is involved in projects that are connected with moving to the new campus. The new board reflects the internationality of Frankfurt School. Students from seven different nations and a wide range of academic programmes belong to the new council. Ulrich Wiebach, Master in Management student, and Victoria Xiang Li, Master of Finance student, were elected as student speaker and co-student speaker respectively. The Student Council further consists of two project managers who are also responsiple for events – Ekin Akkaya, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Clara Wienhold, Bachelor in Management, Philosophy & Economics. Treasurers are Christian des Pallieres, Master of Finance, and Rishabh Jain who studies the Master in Management. Lynn Cunningham is responsible for social media as well as initiatives. She studies the Bachelor in International Management. Johannes Bösch, Bachelor in Management, Philosophy & Economics as well as Matija Ranogajec, Master in Management student, are also responsible for the initiatives. The elections take place annually. Frankfurt School congratulates all new members and is looking forward to working together with them.
