Frankfurt School welcomes exchange students from 31 different countries

With the start of the winter semester 2017 Frankfurt School of Finance & Management welcomes 98 new exchange students from all over the world. 61 of them are studying a bachelor and 37 a master programme. The exchange students come from 31 different countries: Australia, Austria, Barbados, Brasil, Canada, Chile, China Croatia, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, UK and the USA.

Frankfurt’s global importance is growing

“For me as a Master of Finance student, Frankfurt is a very attractive location, particularly after the Brexit votum. Frankfurt´s importance as a global financial centre is increasing. Also, cost of living is comparatively favourable. In my home country Australia this is completely different. Obviously Frankfurt School has a good reputation too”, Beau Boobhakam explains her motivation to study at Frankfurt School.

For Luis Paulo Guardabaxo´s decision to study at Frankfurt School for two semesters the reputation of the business school as well as Frankfurt as a liveable city were crucial: “There is a lot going on in Frankfurt. At the same time the city is not too big and still well-arranged. In addition, staying at one of the global leading business schools offers me the possibility to build a good personal and professional network”.
