We are seeking to recruit a full-time Project Manager (f/m/x) supporting our growing sustainable energy finance portfolio. The ideal candidate combines experience in project management, acquisition of donor-financed programs and business development. This position will initially be limited for the duration of 24 months.

Your tasks
  • Origination of projects/businesses for project support and/or financing as well as subsequent due diligence.
  • Technical project design and budgeting, implementation and supervision of international consulting and training projects or financing programmes.
  • Acquisition of new projects including compiling expressions of interest, technical and financial offers.
  • Project management, reporting, responsibility for and control of budget, coordination of external experts.
  • Market research and continuous market monitoring for opportunities as well as competition.
  • Marketing of tools and products.
  • Supporting the Senior Project Manager in development of new consulting and training concepts and products respectively support of product design.
  • Relationship Management: Attending of and correspondence with local, national and international clients as well as of experts/consultants.
Your profile
  • Prior banking knowledge and academic education, alternatively project-experienced practitioners with relevant banking experience or experience in the international consulting business in the financial sector.
  • Experience in sustainable finance and/or financing sustainable energy solutions.
  • Professional experience in project management and operative implementation of international projects.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Sound knowledge of current international climate change developments.
  • Strong capacity for teamwork, but also ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills within and outside the team, commitment, sociability, flexibility, intercultural sensitivity.
  • Fluent in English and at least one other language both oral and in writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
