Our Strategic Relations unit is looking to recruit a Fundraising Manager (m/w/d) to further develop and implement an effective, integrated fundraising strategy for Frankfurt School.

Role and remit:
  • To maintain and further develop our existing network of Frankfurt School Friends and sponsors; to develop platforms for retaining and cultivating Friends and sponsors: communication, events, etc.
  • To develop and implement both existing and new sponsorship projects – also in collaboration with other Frankfurt School departments and stakeholders
  • To identify potential sponsors; to establish and manage systems for contacting and liaising with them
  • To incorporate fundraising into Frankfurt School’s strategic networking activities
  • To raise awareness of fundraising and specific sponsorship projects; to communicate as appropriate with and integrate internal, semi-internal (e.g. students, graduates) and external target audiences
  • To represent Frankfurt School when interacting with Friends and sponsors, and also on social platforms
  • To acquire and coordinate sponsorship for projects and other activities
  • To further develop and maintain the fundraising and sponsorship database
Skills and qualifications:

You have successfully completed your university degree, and can demonstrate effective results in fundraising and/or sponsorship activities. You have experience of developing and designing networks – ideally in higher education, academic research or related contexts. In addition, you have professional experience of project and event management and are familiar with common MS-Office applications, CRM systems and databases. You can demonstrate a well-developed sense of service, a focus on sales and results, strong interpersonal and social skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You aim to provide solutions while paying close attention to detail, even under time pressure; you have excellent communication skills, are creative and flexible, and good at working under pressure. You have excellent English and German language skills, are willing to travel in Germany and abroad, and ready to take part in weekend and evening events. Your strong interest in and enthusiasm for business-school activities round out your profile.
