On behalf of various agencies and development finance, our advisory arm, the International Advisory Services (IAS) carries out projects across the globe with the overall aim to strengthen the financial sector and thus contribute to improving access to finance for low-end population.
For a Frankfurt School project in Bolivia, we are looking for one or more Experts in Green Technologies and Finance. The project is being implemented in the framework of the Export Initiative for Environmental Technologies (Exportiniative Umwelttechnologien) of the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. The expert(s) will support the development of an e-learning course on Green Finance in Spanish. The course aims to offer quality training for representatives of the financial sector (with focus on multi-stakeholder banks, complemented by SME banks and development finance institutions), project developers and representatives of the private sector and public entities. The course will complement knowledge on Green Finance (Profitability Calculation, Cash Flow, Risk Analysis etc.) with the introduction of green technologies in areas of implementation such as water / wastewater, industrial water treatment and recycling concepts, among others.
Development of teaching materials (1-3 Units) in English/Spanish on the following topics, among others (tasks might be divided among more than one selected candidates):
The assignment will be an engagement with a framework agreement (project duration until March 2022 with the possibility for extension), no permanent employment. Currently we estimate up to 60 working days in total. The consultant will be part of the Frankfurt School team and will report to the project manager at the Frankfurt School head office.
