Project Overview

This Project supports REGMIFA Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) to strengthen their knowledge and capacity for risk management and adopt the Risk Management Graduation Model (RMGM) as a tool for risk management and ensure the adoption of risk management best practices for PFIs by mentoring key staff and liaising with senior management and board members.

Within the Project, Frankfurt School has helped 13 PFIs to enhance their risk management framework via support on various risk management topics such as risk management governance, portfolio analytics, risk mapping, credit risk policies, procedures and processes, implementation of IFRS 9, business continuity plans and asset and liability management. The figure below summarises the Frankfurt School’s approach.
