From July 10 to July 21, 2017, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management hosted its Finance Boot Camp for the fourth time. 24 international students from all over the world joined the two-week programme to deepen their skills and knowledge in finance – including topics such as financial products or investment strategies. The majority of the students participating in the summer school came from partner universities of Frankfurt School.
The main event of the Frankfurt School Boot Camp was the banking game Probanker. During this class the students learned how to manage a financial institution by playing a competitive, web-based simulator game. Visiting important financial institutions such as the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Deutsche Bundesbank (the German central Bank) gave the students plenty of opportunity to network with executives working in one of European´s leading business centres.
In addition to the academic courses, the students took part in various team-building and sports activities. Also, the group visited Heidelberg with its famous castle and enjoyed a dinner at a typical German restaurant.
