On Monday, June 26, 2017, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management welcomed 35 Global Executive MBA students of the business school´s partner university United States International University Africa (USIU) located in Nairobi, Kenya. EMBA students from USIU visit Frankfurt School since 2012. Julianne Jones, Project Manager, at Frankfurt School´s International Advisory Services introduced the team organising the one-week visit. Following, Professor Dr Udo Steffens, President of Frankfurt School, officially welcomed the guests. He shortly presented Frankfurt and Germany with its typical characteristics in order to give the visitors a better understanding of their temporary environment.
“Compared to African metropolises Frankfurt is not a very big city. However, it is one of the economic hubs in the country and within Europe. For instance, there are approximately as many jobs as inhabitants.” Professor Dr Udo Steffens emphasised the current economic strength of Germany to show the students why Frankfurt is worth a visit – especially now.
