On June 6, 2017, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management was awarded EQUIS re-accreditation by EFMD for five years – the longest possible period. Frankfurt School is one of six Business Schools in Germany to have earned EQUIS accreditation.

EQUIS accreditation is a hallmark of excellence in management education and a highly regarded international seal of approval. To merit EQUIS accreditation, business schools must comply with international quality standards across all activities, including teaching, research and executive education. A high level of internationalisation is also required.

“EQUIS re-accreditation for five years is a major milestone for Frankfurt School. It underscores that we have made the right strategic decisions and are on the path to becoming one of the leading Business Schools in Europe. I am delighted by this achievement,” says Professor Dr Udo Steffens, President of Frankfurt School.

EQUIS was launched in 1997 by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) with the aim to raise standards of management education globally. Currently, 170 schools across 42 countries are EQUIS accredited. Frankfurt School was first accredited by EQUIS in 2014.
