From June 3 to June 5, 2017, 28 exchange students of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management visited Berlin to explore the German capital. The three-day trip was organised and accompanied by members of FS Student Life. The trip to Berlin aims to give the exchange students an understanding of Germany. The DAAD supports this event that takes place every summer semester.
During their journey the students took part in a guided city tour and visited the Berlin television tower to enjoy a unique view over the entire city. Also, the group got to see the German Reichstag building with its impressive dome. Optional, the students could attend the Mauerpark flea market as well as famous museums such as the DDR Museum. A special highlight of the excursion was the Karneval der Kulturen – a multicultural festival in Berlin Kreuzberg. The festival stands for tolerance and multiculturalism.
