On Monday, November 27, 2017, the final event of the EU Commission-sponsored research Project „Sustainable Energy Investment (SEI) Metrics” will take place on the new campus of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. The conference at the business school focuses on the close link between investment decisions and climatic developments. As project partner the Frankfurt School-UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance organises the conference together with the think tank 2 Degrees Investing Initiative. Besides other experts, Professor Dr Ulf Moslener, Professor of Sustainable Energy Finance and Scientific Head of the FS-UNEP Centre at Frankfurt School, will speak about how financial institutions are able to estimate if their assets are in line with the 2°C scenario, in order to comply with the Paris Agreement which was signed by 174 countries at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2015.
