From Monday, August 28, to Friday, September 1, 2017, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management officially welcomed the 2017 Bachelor of Science intake with 238 new students. More than 18 percent of the students hold a non-German passport from one of 29 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Chinese students form the second largest group. Almost a third of the new students are women. The intake is both Frankfurt School's most female and most international ever. The total number of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science programme is now 879 – another record.
The students experienced a full week of new information and experiences with numerous workshops, social and team building events. Parts of the week took place on Frankfurt School's new campus. The welcoming of the intake on Monday morning was the first official function to take place in the new building. On Friday, students and their parents enjoyed the official opening ceremony followed by a barbecue outside the new premises.
