Frankfurt am Main, 22.02.2018 12:00:00

On Friday, February 16, 2018, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management hosted its first Alumni Reception in the Executive Lounge on the business school´s new campus. The event brought together all alumni of the Master of Finance, Master in Management and Master of International Business, who have graduated from Frankfurt School between 2015 and 2017. More than 100 alumni attended the evening. Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz, who will become the new President of Frankfurt School in April, officially welcomed the guests.

“I am really happy that so many of you have decided to join us for this event in the Executive Lounge on our new campus. During your time at Frankfurt School you did not have the chance to enjoy these new facilities yet. So, it is our duty to give you the chance to get to know the new building and offer some special insights”, emphasised Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz.

Klaus Ringsleben, Project Director of the new campus, showed the alumni around. During the guided tour, the group also got to see the roof terrace at the building´s north side. For the expansion of the terrace, FS students initiated a fundraising campaign, which was supported by many alumni.

Outstanding reputation and close connection to industry: Alumni about reasons to study at Frankfurt School

Alex Bergen, who studied the Master of Finance at Frankfurt School and graduated in 2015 was really impressed by the new building: “Frankfurt School stands for a good community on campus. The new building is really impressive. In my view it will further improve student life at the business school”. Beside a good study support Alex Bergen decided to join the Master of Finance at Frankfurt School because of the institution´s close ties to the financial industry. The alumnus now works as a Senior Analyst for Atkins.

Hafiz Mama also attended the Alumni Reception. He originally comes from Benin and completed the Master in Management at Frankfurt School in 2016. The alumnus still benefits from the Master of Management while working for Société Générale: “One critical skill in the programme is to learn how to communicate in a business environment. Job success is not only about providing results, but also about communication”.
