Portrait of Prof Dr Nils Stieglitz

“For me personally, this new role represents a commitment, a challenge and a delight. The commitment: to drive forward Frankfurt School’s growth, following the example of my predecessor Professor Dr Udo Steffens. The challenge: to rigorously pursue our goal of becoming a top business school at European level while simultaneously accommodating the rapid progress of digitalisation, artificial intelligence and social change. The delight: to move confidently forwards into the future surrounded by a world-class team! ‘German excellence, global relevance’ – the excellence and relevance in Frankfurt School’s motto can be found in our faculty members’ research, our academic degree courses, our continuing education and training programmes, our executive education, our advisory and training initiatives around the world, our Executive Board, among our students and alumni, and among our administrative staff. This makes me very proud! Our new campus is a symbol of forward-looking change expressed in top-quality architecture – a wonderful centre of knowledge, research and learning, and henceforth the home of one of Europe’s leading business schools,” declared Nils Stieglitz.

“In Professor Stieglitz, we are delighted to have found a new president who simultaneously represents new beginnings and continuity,“ said Rainer Neske, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Foundation. “Nils Stieglitz has worked with Frankfurt School for many years and, as head of the Management Department, has played a major role in positioning Frankfurt School as an international business school. He brings with him extensive knowledge in the field of strategic development from which Frankfurt School will certainly benefit. Under Professor Stieglitz, Frankfurt School will continue to follow the successful path upon which it embarked under the aegis of Professor Steffens.”
