Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is again the best ranked German business school in the new Times Higher Education Global University Employability Ranking. It is the third time in a row that Frankfurt School has achieved the placement, being ranked #6 out of all German universities. In a ranking dominated by large comprehensive universities, Frankfurt School is ranked 75 out of 150 universities worldwide.

Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz, president of Frankfurt School, sees the work of a dedicated team behind its ranking success. “At Frankfurt School, our faculty, staff and career services work very hard to make sure our students are prepared for the first or even the next steps in their careers.  We are happy to see that HR professionals all over the world appreciate this and have confirmed again that Frankfurt School graduates are highly sought after.”

While US universities like Harvard, CalTech, and MIT lead the global ranking again, German universities have been on the rise for the past decade and are now the second most represented nation after the US. This means that firms increasingly cite German universities as the top producers of workplace-ready graduates.

The methodology of the ranking

The ranking features the 150 best universities for delivering graduates ready for the work-place. This is the seventh year the Global University Employability Ranking has been published. It is based on the feedback of two panels of judges from 22 countries, consisting of 2,500 recruiters at management level and 3,500 managing directors from international companies. Together, they represent employers that have recruited more than 250,000 young graduates in the past 12 months. The panels were asked to recommend universities outside their own country that they felt were the best for graduate employability.
