Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung recognises Professor Dr Philipp Sandner as one of the most influential economists in Germany. Professor Sandner is head of the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. The center was founded in 2017.

In the ranking, Frankfurter Allgemeine examines media appearances, the impact on politics  and the effects of scientific research. Finally, the newspaper assesses, who “left a mark in public and research“.For the first time, Professor Sandner was included in the list of the 100 most important economists, rank 30.

„I am very happy to be honoured in this way. One could also say, that the topic I represent – the blockchain technology – is more and more being recognised. That is good news, since this technology will revolutionise the financial sector.
