Frankfurt School of Finance & Management reached #10 in the current ranking of universities with the strongest track record in research publications.

The research institute KOF of ETH Zürich and the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE) compiled the ranking of German, Swiss and Austrian universities on behalf of the German business magazine Wirtschaftswoche. It is based on Business Administration publications in 860 scientific journals. Publications in renowned journals scored higher than those in lesser known journals. Topics ranged from Finance to Logistics and Marketing. With 509 publications, Frankfurt School was listed #10 in the overall ranking.

Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz, President of Frankfurt School, sees the results as a confirmation of the strategy to foster research excellence: “The research output of Frankfurt School is rewarded by being ranked #10 in the DACH region. Excellence in research is one of our priorities. We have managed to advance to the group of top tier research universities in a very short amount of time. We will continue to follow this path.”

The University of St Gallen, TU München and WU Wien lead the Wirtschaftswoche ranking. The accompanying coverage stresses the growing internationalisation of Business Administration in the DACH region and the increasingly stronger position of German researchers in the global competition for excellent research.
