Overview

Frankfurt School is excited to offer summer programmes for prospective bachelor and master students who wish to continue learning in the summer. In these programmes, students will cover a variety of business, finance, and management topics to prepare them for their future studies and careers. Taught entirely in English, with students coming from around the globe, participants will benefit from networking & social events and lectures from industry experts.

Bachelor Pre-university Summer School

Target Audience

Currently in high school or just finished, and contemplating starting your bachelor's degree
15-19 years old
Want to improve your verbal and written English
Curious about Frankfurt School's bachelor programmes

Key information:

Language of instruction	English
Hours	9:00-18:00 CET each day
Dates & duration	15 July - 19 July 2024 Application Deadline: 16 June 2024, 0:00am
Certificate	You will gain a certificate of participation at the end of the week.
Price	800 EUR (Accommodation and flights are not included)

How to apply:

Register by clicking the button below. You need to upload a letter of motivation why you want to attend summer school, what your interests are and some things about yourself (e.g. you play an instrument, you already invested on the stock market, you traveled to 30 countries, programmed an app etc.)

If you are under the age of 18 by the time summer school starts, you are required to upload a consent form with the permission of your parents (download here). Once those steps are completed you will be contacted by the Frankfurt School Bachelor Summer School Team.

Master The Finance & Management Summer School

Target Audience

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's programme or have already finished a Bachelor's degree and are now eligible to participate in a Master's programme
Excellent English skills
Interested in finance and management and wish to discover Frankfurt School's master programmes
Highly motivated, eager to learn and engage with others

Key information:

Language of instruction	English
Hours	Lectures are everyday from 9am to 5pm. The programme includes 20 - 25 hours of pre-reading and two daily hours of self-study. There will be a pre-reading list in advance.
Dates & duration	July 2024 The programme runs for two weeks: starting with a finance week followed by a week of management content. Application Deadline: 15 June 2024 * Late applications will also be considered.
Credits	5 ECTS (7 ECTS possible through additional assignment)
Certificate	After completing the 2-week programme, you will receive a “Certificate of Participation” with your name, name of the programme, credits (ECTS) achieved and overall grade (out of 100 points). Each lecturer will grade you based on different aspects. Some examples include a group presentation, a short test or oral participation during the class.
Price	2,500 EUR Lunches & travel cards within Frankfurt are included in the price. Accommodation and flights are not included in the price.

Finance Week

Finance Week will comprise of exciting lectures on different topics and disciplines within the field of finance.

How to apply:

Register below and submit a motivational letter as to why you want to join the summer school programme. Please send your motivational letter to masters@fs.de. Once both steps are complete, you will be contacted by Frankfurt School.

After class activities

There will be some evening activities arranged (weekend for Master only)

We have a gym partner down the road as well as plenty of parks nearby. You will receive a guide of possible activities as well as recommendations from our students. We wish to make your time memorable both in and outside of the classroom.

Site Visits & Excursions

During your time at the Summer School, you will have the opportunity to be involved in various site visits and excursions. These include; company visits, a thrilling city tour of Frankfurt, and engaging presentations from industry experts!

Food & drink

Moreover, we will be treating you to a delicious and memorable outing to a typical German restaurant. Prepare to feast and enjoy the traditional Hesse cuisine! We're also happy to share with you some of the best places to eat and drink in the city

Accommodation

We are happy to recommend places to stay around Frankfurt. We will advise on a hotel to all participants so that you will all stay at the same location. This will be stated shortly after the sign-up takes place.
