Target Group

This course is designed to junior Supply Chain specialists, early career logistics experts, or other professionals in the important fields of operations, supply chain management or logistics.

Junior professionals, after their graduation in operations or a business related topic, have gained first experience in supply chain management on the job already and are working in specific areas with dedicated tasks.

The course gives them the opportunity and time to get away from all-day routines and go back - in a very condensed way - to the school/university desk, refresh and deepen their knowledge and understand supply chains from a holistic fundamental view building upon their already gained experience.

Learning Target

The learning target of this course to develop a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management with all its different highly relevant facets such as supply chain dynamics, supply chain risk management, supply chain network design, etc. The course aims to build a bridge between theory and practice and is characterized by a productive learning atmosphere. Series business games support this interactive character. After finishing the course, the students should have gained a deep and long lasting knowledge of the key concepts of supply chain management from which they will benefit throughout their entire career.
