The module belongs to the core curriculum of the Bachelor in Business Administration. This module provides standard university material for statistics and probability, covering descriptive statistics, probability theory and inferential statistics including their application.
The theoretical knowledge should provide students with the ability to understand, to structure and solve statistical problems related to economic and financial issues. Student-taught tutorials accompany the lectures to deepen attained knowledge through practical exercises.

We teach this course to groups of usually up to 60 students. Teaching language is English. We will provide standardized material (slides, exercises, sample solutions).
You are either qualified through your research or your professional experience. As a researcher, you will have a doctorate and regularly publish in your field of expertise. As a professional, you will have a Master degree (or equivalent) and a work track record of several years at senior level.
