The FS-UNEP Centre, a strategic cooperation between UN Environment and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, is Frankfurt School’s in-house think-and-do-tank for climate and sustainable energy finance. Our overall objective is to facilitate public and private financing of sustainable economic activities and projects. Our services include financial consulting, policy advice, research and education. We are seeking to recruit an Office Manager (f/m/x) for handling the general administrative and organizational management of the Centre, starting as early as possible. This position will be limited for the duration of 24 months; working part-time will be possible with a minimum availability of 28hrs / week.

Your tasks
  • act as a focal point for general inquiries to the Centre and the Centre management;
  • support Centre management with general administrative, coordination and communication tasks, including travel arrangements / travel expense accounting, diary management and correspondence;
  • oversee the general budget of the Centre, including financial controlling;
  • maintain and streamline office systems and processes, including data management and filing;
  • organize meetings / events, including internal offsite events;
  • support Centre staff with acquisition, marketing and administrative activities, including invoicing;
  • maintain and further develop the Centre website.
Your profile
  • BA degree in Business Administration or similar / trained office administrator / industrial management assistant / paralegal;
  • reliability, sense of responsibility and ability to work independently;
  • excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy;
  • a flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise;
  • excellent soft skills and communication skills in both English and German;
  • ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality;
  • solid IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; ideally experience with CMS WordPress.
