The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a leading private business school with the following four main pillars of activities: (1) academia (research and degree programs –bachelor’s, master’s, MBA, doctoral); (2) professional and executive education; (3) banking institute programs and (4) international advisory services (IAS), providing education, training, policy advice and technical assistance to developing and emerging countries worldwide. Within in pillar (4) the School is providing consulting as well as training services and addressing the needs of different stakeholders in the financial sector.  IAS works on international development finance projects (for example on behalf of EU, EIB, EBRD and KfW) worldwide.

Initially scheduled for 24 months, we are hiring a Project Manager (all genders) to strengthen our team at IAS. The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Frankfurt, Germany. The position might involve business trips to project locations throughout Africa, Asia, Middle-East, Eastern Europe and Latin America.  Participation in industry events, international conferences and/or trainings is expected.

Applicants must have:
  • Academic degree up to at least Masters level in a subject relevant to social and economic policy; alternatively expert with project experience in social and economic policy consulting.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in project management, consultancy, research or evaluation and operative implementation of international projects or in financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of European policy and institutions.
  • Very good communications skills: verbal and written proficiency in English is a must and good knowledge in Arab, French, Portuguese, Spanish or Russian language.
  • Sound knowledge of common software (MS-Office).
  • Good qualitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent mind that can succeed with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Team player and flexible in handling project management and consultancy workload.
  • Confident in building effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
