Founded in 1996, Bank of Abyssinia is one of the largest private banks in Ethiopia with 1 million customers and nearly 6,000 employees. The Bank contracted Frankfurt School to conduct an executive seminar for members of the Board of Directors. The topics of the programme were chosen to optimise the board functions.
The seminar was based on international best practices in banking and was customised to the current situation in the Ethiopian banking sector and the special needs of the Bank.

Site visits to German commercial banks gave the participants valuable insights on current practices in commercial banking in Germany. Participants had an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with bankers from reputable German commercial banks.
Frankfurt School’s Senior Training Experts developed tailored training curricula and materials and delivered trainings in Frankfurt while our Project Management staff organised the local travel arrangements and logistics for participants
