AFFP Research fellows with successfull participation at Adaptation Futures 2018 conference

In the framework of the Adaptation Finance Fellowship Programme (AFFP), the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) attended the 5^th Adaptation Futures 2018 Conference in Cape Town, South Africa from 18^th to 21^st June 2018.

Over 1000 practitioners, researchers, policy makers and private business representatives discussed current challenges, futures trends and outlooks in adapting to adverse impacts of climate change and making the world more climate-resilient.

The Project Team hosted a special session to enrich the discussion on financing options for adaptation and climate resilient development with recent research conducted throughout the AFFP. The programme gave four young researchers from developing countries the opportunity to present their work on a high international level and to strengthen their network in the adaptation (finance) community.
