Frankfurt School of Finance & Management hosted the Bachelor Day on its campus to provide prospective students information about the business school´s bachelor programmes. More than 730 potential students and their parents attended the event. Through trial lectures guests got a first-hand impression about Frankfurt School’s programmes. In addition, numerous presentations regarding semester abroad, career opportunities, financing and the application process were held. Students from the initiative ‘FS Ambassador’ talked about their experiences at Frankfurt School and gave their impression about everyday life as a student.
Students with the most different cultural backgrounds come together for this little food festival at Frankfurt School.
As in every fall semester the Career Day 2019 will take place on 6th November 2019 from 5p.m. – 8 p.m. This will be the 11th edition organized by Frankfurt School Career Services. Career Day at Frankfurt School is by far the biggest career fair in the RhineMain area, open exclusively for FS students and alumni. 100+ national and international TOP companies will be present to inform FS talents about career opportunities and work experience during their studies. Join us for an evening full of recruiting and networking opportunities with over 550 corporate representatives and alumni representing their companies.
On May 3, the northern roof terrace was officially opened with almost 500 people. Frankfurt School together with the “Raise the Roof”-team and the Student Council invited for the opening of the roof terrace. The terrace was funded by Frankfurt School’s first student crowdfunding campaign "Raise the Roof". Since the campaign started in November 2016 students have raised 200,000 Euros for the roof terrace. The Frankfurt School Community - students, parents, alumni, employees, friends and companies - have participated and donated. The opening party on “The Roof” was a great success. Frankfurt School of Finance & Management invited students, alumni and guests with an interest in entrepreneurship to join startups and accelerators for the second Startup Night. The mix of panel discussion, career fair and networking event provided ample opportunity to learn more about new ways of funding for entrepreneurs as well as internships and job entry positions with the participating startups. Dr Heike Brost, Vice President and Director Executive Education & Degree Programmes at Frankfurt School, welcomed the guests and was especially happy to see the many alumni, who had returned to their alma mater, to recruit new interns and employees.

The Frankfurt School Business Game is organized by a student initiative of students from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and invites talented students from renowned universities across Europe to compete in a challenging and fun two-day case competition in Frankfurt, Germany. From May 11 to 12, 2018, the initiative organized the first business game at a German business university. Almost 100 participants from more than 30 different universities within and outside Europe participated in the event. In four-member teams, the students solved three real case studies from E.ON, Commerzbank and BearingPoint.

In this Master of Finance concentration students are not only exposed to the numbers and accounting behind financial transactions such as in M&A, but are challenged to go a step further and use this knowledge in decision-making and financial advisory through case studies and projects which typically include guest speakers from external firms.
Expert knowledge is crucial throughout the persistent global financial crisis to manage the wide range of financial risks. In-depth exposure to the different risk types and complex risk management processes prepares students for a career in any risk-related area including strategy and national/ international regulators, such as the European Central Bank.
With a focus on valuation methods, M&A, investment banking and financial intermediation, this Master of Finance concentration prepares students for handling the interaction between financial markets and corporates. Financial decision-making has an ever-increasing impact in the corporate world and thus this concentration prepares students for these challenges.
This concentration was introduced to the Master of Finance in response to the high impact of the economic commotion in the modern investment banking sector. Students are challenged with advanced quantitative products and complex portfolio management exercises further developing their ability to assess and predict market patterns and trends. Students are able to understand and develop complex financial solutions and to perform in the high-speed capital markets environment.

This module addresses the flow of tangible goods within an organisation, taking into account the specifics in a healthcare environment.
