The Certified Expert in Business Development is a blended learning management certificate programme dispensing great opportunity for professionals to develop advanced Management and Leadership skills to excel in their executive positions while pursuing their career.

Trainers

Ms. Ute Bühler

During her professional career in UniCredit Bank, she has accumulated vast experience in technical fields as well as in leadership. While holding various managerial positions, she was already responsible for training and coaching of her teams. At that time, her training and coaching focused on leadership, sales strategies, customer service, and achieving targets. After 15 years of management experience in bank sales she became the Head of HR for the Unicredit Division Private Banking, Germany and Luxembourg. In this role, she designed and developed various HR initiatives, amongst others she worked on the improvement of the personal development and leadership skills of the supervisors in her area. She was also responsible for the recruitment of international staff, ensuring business success through hiring suitable personnel. She also trained the managers in her domain on interviewing skills.

Since 2014, she has been working as an independent trainer, coach and mediator, amongst others for Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. In this new capacity, she teaches various leadership training courses, amongst others in the following areas: change management, negotiation skills, communication, human resources management and development, general and strategic leadership.

Ms. Anna Ayse Guel

is a Human Resources Executive. Started her working career at Lufthansa in the Human Resources Department she collected deep knowledge of all relevant processes of the HR business in a global playing enterprise such as talent development and recruiting, leadership assessments and running workshops. During her time at Lufthansa she developed her strength in the fields of process management.

She studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz and achieved her degree in Business Administration in 1998. Still on board at Lufthansa she decided to extend her academic basis further and in 2000 she was granted a sabbatical to study at University of Frankfurt. In 2004 she graduated with a master’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Information Technology.

Prof. Dr. Christian Schulze

is Associate Professor of Marketing at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Texas in Austin and at Boston University. Prior to his career in academia, he was a business consultant with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Christian is an expert on digital media and electronic commerce. His research and opinions have been featured in national and international press articles, such as by The Economist, BusinessWeek.com, Jyllands Postens, People's China Daily, Harvard Business Manager, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, WirtschaftsWoche Online or Manager Magazin Online. He is also a frequent guest on radio and TV programs.

Christian’s interests as a researcher lie in the areas of digital marketing, the measurement and optimization of marketing performance, and customer management. His research has been published in the leading academic and practice journals, such as the Journal of Marketing, Marketing Science, and MIT Sloan Management Review. He teaches elective courses on Marketing Strategy and Digital Marketing in Frankfurt School's Bachelor, Master, MBA and Executive programs. Christian also works as a consultant, trainer, invited speaker and conference host.

Christian holds a Ph.D. in Business from Goethe University Frankfurt. He completed his graduate studies in Business and Information Systems at the Technical University Carolo-Wilhelmina in Braunschweig and at Babson College in Wellesley, MA (USA). He is a Fulbright fellow and a fellow of the German National Merit Foundation.
