The EBRD has contracted Frankfurt School to develop a specific version of Business Lens to be used by all SMEs. Business Lens has originally been developed by Frankfurt School within the EBRD’s Turkey Women in Business (WiB) programme to give women entrepreneurs a new perspective on their business.
This unique, free platform offers a tailored self-assessment that highlights the strengths and opportunities within their business – and then matches them with the activities offered under the WiB programme and to the PFIs. Following the successful launch in Turkey, Business Lens has been replicated in 15 other countries and more than 1,300 women entrepeneurs completed their assessment so far. The idea now is to develop a generic version for the use of all types of SMEs and pilot in Ukraine by end of 2016.
